We originally sold it to a local car aficionado and now it's back again and ready for a new owner to love it as much as he did. One drive, and you will too! Holding a unique place in American - and Foreign - Car History, the 9-7X was the first American-built Saab. It was assembled in the same United States Moraine, Ohio, production plant as the other GMT360 SUVs such as the Chevrolet Trailblazer, GMC Envoy and Buick Rainier; and shared many components with its platform mates. The Saab 9-7X succeeded the Oldsmobile Bravada as GM's flagship mid-size SUV, and was GM's highest priced mid-size SUV. But to set it apart from 'The Pack' of its GM American-Model Cousins, the Saab featured substantial chassis revisions, including a 1-inch (25 mm) lower ride height, revised bushings & dampers, and quicker steering to sharpen the handling. Equipped with GM's iconic VORTEC 5.3-Liter V8 engine (Virtually the same motor found in the Chevrolet Tahoe, Silverado, GMC Sierra, GMC Yukon, etc.), it had original factory specifications of 300 horsepower and 330 lb ft of torque while still returning a good SUV fuel-mileage rating of up to 20 mpg highway. That's enough oomph to give some so-called Sports Cars a big surprise when you launch it from a stoplight. When properly equipped, it can tow up to 5,200 pounds. Mechanically, it starts, runs, drives and performs exactly like you'd expect a low-mileage GM V8 to do so with no "Check Engine", "ABS" or "Airbag" lights present. According to its completely clean CARFAX Report, it's also been the benefit of several common maintenance tasks, including a New Crankshaft Oil Seals at around 91K; Spark Plugs at 84K; and Oil Pressure Switch and Throttle Body Cleaning Service at around 82K. All four Firestone Destination 255/55R8 tires mounted on OEM 18" Chrome Clad Wheels are in average to good condition. On the outside, this Saab's 9-7x 5.3i's body is finished in a beautiful Obsidian Black Metallic Paint Scheme that is complimented by a Tan Leather interior. Of note is the hood, which is heavily oxidized and would neeed attention. Inside, its smoke-free interior is equipped like a luxury SUV should be with OEM GPS Navigation; Leather; Heated Seats; a Power Sunroof; Rear DVD Player; Memory Driver's Seat; Woodgrain Trim; Power Windows, Locks & Mirrors; Cruise Control; Premium Bose Audio; CD Player; A/C; Overhead Console and more. As with any pre-owned vehicle, it does have the usual amount of cosmetic imperfections that are inherent to a vehicle of this age and mileage.
